How Vaylorn operates
What is actually doing the work?
The homepage shows you one opportunity being worked. This page answers the question that follows: what is the thing doing the working? It is software. This is its shape.
The operating chain
01
Shared revenue intelligence
The AI reasoning layer. It reads the commercial state of every open opportunity — what happened, what it means, and what is blocking the sale. There is one of it, not one per operator.
Answers: What is going on, and what should happen next?
02
Specialised operators
The Customer Revenue Operator, the Marketing Operator and the Campaign Operator are not separate products and not people. Each is a specialisation of the layer above — the same intelligence, scoped to a job, with its own permissions and its own maturity.
Answers: Who acts, and what are they allowed to do?
03
Jewellery vertical knowledge
What this trade knows: a considered purchase, silence that is not a no, dates that do not move, the questions a jeweller actually gets. Content and configuration — not a model trained on jewellery.
Answers: What does this industry expect?
04
Merchant-specific truth
Your catalogue, your prices, your policies, this customer's history. The only facts an operator may use. Where it does not know, it is required to ask rather than fill the gap.
Answers: What is true in this business?
05
Human judgement
A deliberate input boundary, not a fallback. Customer-facing messages, prices, commitments and campaigns stop here and wait for a person. This is the step that makes everything above safe to run.
Answers: Should this actually happen?
06
Controlled execution
Only an approved action leaves the system, through the channel the customer already uses. Exactly what was approved — nothing added, nothing sent twice.
Answers: What did we actually do?
07
Measurement and learning
What moved, what did not, and what that implies for the next decision. It feeds back into the first band, which is what makes this a loop rather than a pipeline.
Answers: Did it work, and what now?
Read the two teal edges as one thing
The two bands joined by the teal edge are one thing: the intelligence decides, the operators act. Human judgement is the only band drawn in ember, and the only one that is not software. That contrast is the whole claim — AI-native, with a human boundary designed in rather than apologised for.
The three operators, in full
Software, scoped to a job.
Each one is a specialisation of the shared revenue intelligence above — not a separate product, and not a person. Each carries its own permissions and its own maturity, stated here rather than implied.
Customer Revenue Operator
Pilot. Built, and running with real customers in a controlled pilot.Works the enquiry and owns the commercial thread.
Answers in the customer's words from your catalogue, works out what is blocking the sale, and brings you the decision. This is the operator running in the pilot today.
Marketing Operator
Limited. Partly built, and narrower than the role name implies. Not yet run with customers.Re-opens opportunities that have gone quiet.
Reactivation is all it does today, and the label says so. Nothing wider is claimed for it — the role name is broader than the current capability, which is exactly what Limited means.
Campaign Operator
Coming soon. The underlying capability is built. This operator is not live.Runs campaigns — capability built, operator not live.
The campaign capability is built end to end and has never run with customers. The operator that would drive it is not live. Both axes are shown rather than collapsed into one word.
Software, not staff. Each is a specialisation of the shared intelligence directly below — never a person, and never a menu of bots.
Why there are no faces here
These are roles, not characters. There is no avatar, no portrait and no card grid, because the moment an operator gets a face it stops reading as software and starts reading as a person you are being asked to trust. What you should trust is the boundary above it.
What happens next
Bring us the enquiry you lost last month.
We set Vaylorn up against your real catalogue and run it beside you for a fortnight. You approve every message. If it does not move anything, you will be able to see that too.
Getting started is free. You get a workspace and can watch Vaylorn read a real enquiry before anything is connected — nothing reaches a customer until you decide it should.
